Three Cheese Spread Recipe

  • Author: Harry
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: About 2 cups 1x

Description

A creamy, flavorful three cheese spread combining sharp cheddar, pepper jack, and cream cheese with garlic, herbs, and spices, perfect as a dip or sandwich spread.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheese

  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

Other Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup milk (or more, to desired consistency)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Shred the cheeses: Shred the sharp cheddar and pepper jack cheeses using a grater to prepare them for mixing, ensuring easy incorporation with the other ingredients.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the shredded cheddar and pepper jack, room temperature cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, chopped parsley, onion powder, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce, and milk. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth. Adjust thickness by adding more milk if needed.
  3. Chill and serve: Refrigerate the spread for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Alternatively, serve immediately if preferred. The spread is delicious as a dip or spread on bread, crackers, or sandwiches.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, use a hand mixer or food processor to blend the ingredients.
  • Adjust the red pepper flakes to your preferred level of spiciness.
  • This spread can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Add more milk gradually to reach your desired spread consistency.
  • Worcestershire sauce adds depth, but can be omitted for a milder flavor.
