- 3/4 Cup Honey
- 2 1/2 Cups Water

Instructions
- Prepare Lemonade Base: Start by squeezing fresh lemons to get about 2 cups of lemon juice. Peel and roughly chop the fresh ginger.
- Add Ingredients to Blender: Pour the lemon juice, chopped ginger, and honey into a blender.
- Blend Ingredients: Blend on high speed for approximately 1 minute until the mixture is smooth and frothy.
- Adjust Sweetness: Taste the blended lemon mixture and add additional honey if a sweeter lemonade is desired. Blend again briefly to incorporate any added honey.
- Combine with Water and Ice: Pour the water and desired amount of ice into a large pitcher. Then add the blended lemon and ginger mixture. Stir thoroughly with a wooden spoon to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish the lemonade with fresh basil leaves if desired, then pour into glasses and serve chilled for a refreshing drink.
Notes
- Adjust the ginger quantity based on preferred spice level.
- To keep it chilled longer, chill the lemon juice mixture before adding water and ice.
- Fresh basil adds a lovely aromatic garnish but can be omitted if unavailable.
- For a sparkling twist, substitute still water with sparkling water.
- Ensure honey is fully blended to avoid settling at the bottom.
