Ingredients
Scale
Frosting Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Danish Creamery European Style Unsalted Butter (softened at room temperature)
- 1 cup Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp Sea salt
- 1 tbsp Heavy cream (adjust as needed)
Instructions
- Cream Butter and Sweetener: Using a hand mixer, beat the softened Danish Creamery butter and Besti powdered monk fruit allulose blend together for 2-3 minutes. Begin mixing at low speed to incorporate the sweetener, then increase to medium or high speed until the mixture is fluffy and light yellow in color.
- Add Cream and Flavorings: At low speed, blend in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and sea salt. This combines the ingredients without deflating the fluffy texture you achieved earlier.
- Whip to Desired Consistency: Increase the mixer speed to high and continue beating the frosting for 2-3 minutes. This step aerates the frosting, making it smooth and creamy with the ideal spreadable consistency.
- Adjust Thickness if Needed: If the frosting is too thick for your liking, add additional heavy cream one teaspoon at a time, beating well after each addition until you reach your preferred texture.
Notes
- Use unsalted butter to control the salt level in your frosting.
- Adjust heavy cream quantity depending on your desired frosting thickness.
- This frosting keeps well refrigerated for up to a week and can be softened by bringing to room temperature and beating again.
- Ensure butter is softened at room temperature for easier whipping and better texture.
- Use powdered monk fruit blend to avoid grittiness and achieve a smooth frosting.
