Ingredients

Scale

Mini Buns

  • Mini buns, sliced diagonally
  • Butter, as needed for spreading
  • Brown sugar or sugar, to sprinkle on top

For Spread

  • Thick cream or fresh cream, quantity as needed
  • Powdered sugar, to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For 1st Topping

  • Sweet mango, chopped
  • Sliced cherries or grapes
  • Chopped basil leaves or mint, to taste
  • Honey, to taste

For 2nd Topping

  • Cream cheese, spread or cubed
  • Sliced fresh figs
  • Blueberries, quantity as desired
  • 1 tsp brown sugar

For 3rd Topping

  • Melted chocolate, amount as needed for piping
  • Finely chopped apple, strawberry, and kiwi mix
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Little lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mini Buns: Slice the mini buns diagonally. Spread butter evenly on each slice and sprinkle with brown sugar or regular sugar. Place them in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) and bake for 10 minutes until golden and slightly crispy.
  2. Make the Cream Spread: In a bowl, combine thick cream or fresh cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy.
  3. Prepare 1st Topping: Chop sweet mangoes and slice cherries or grapes. Mix them together with chopped basil or mint leaves and add honey to taste for sweetness and flavor balance.
  4. Assemble 1st Topping Crostini: Once the baked buns are ready, spread the cream mixture generously over each piece. Top with the mixed mango and cherry topping. Serve immediately while fresh.
  5. Prepare 2nd Topping: Toss sliced fresh figs and blueberries with 1 tsp brown sugar. This will gently sweeten and macerate the fruit.
  6. Assemble 2nd Topping Crostini: Spread cream cheese on each baked bun slice, then top with the fig and blueberry mixture for a creamy and fruity bite.
  7. Prepare 3rd Topping: Mix finely chopped apple, strawberry, and kiwi together with sugar and a little lemon juice to prevent browning and add a fresh tang.
  8. Assemble 3rd Topping Crostini: Spread the sweet cream prepared earlier on the bread. Pipe or drizzle melted chocolate over the cream, then top with the fruit mix for a sweet and colorful finish.
