Instructions
- Prepare the Mini Buns: Slice the mini buns diagonally. Spread butter evenly on each slice and sprinkle with brown sugar or regular sugar. Place them in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) and bake for 10 minutes until golden and slightly crispy.
- Make the Cream Spread: In a bowl, combine thick cream or fresh cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy.
- Prepare 1st Topping: Chop sweet mangoes and slice cherries or grapes. Mix them together with chopped basil or mint leaves and add honey to taste for sweetness and flavor balance.
- Assemble 1st Topping Crostini: Once the baked buns are ready, spread the cream mixture generously over each piece. Top with the mixed mango and cherry topping. Serve immediately while fresh.
- Prepare 2nd Topping: Toss sliced fresh figs and blueberries with 1 tsp brown sugar. This will gently sweeten and macerate the fruit.
- Assemble 2nd Topping Crostini: Spread cream cheese on each baked bun slice, then top with the fig and blueberry mixture for a creamy and fruity bite.
- Prepare 3rd Topping: Mix finely chopped apple, strawberry, and kiwi together with sugar and a little lemon juice to prevent browning and add a fresh tang.
- Assemble 3rd Topping Crostini: Spread the sweet cream prepared earlier on the bread. Pipe or drizzle melted chocolate over the cream, then top with the fruit mix for a sweet and colorful finish.
